Understand the minimum per variation

MX projects start from 1,000 units per fragrance and design, with the final minimum confirmed by specification and quotation. State the quantity for each scent, size and pack configuration. A collection total does not replace that breakdown.

Newly developed components, special finishes and printed packaging may have different order requirements. Ask for the bottle, decoration and carton assumptions to be listed clearly in the quotation.

Decide what the sample needs to prove

A scent trial evaluates the fragrance direction. A component sample checks the bottle and closure. A decorated pack brings artwork, fit and presentation together. Specify which of these you need before comparing sample charges or dates.

Retain approved reference codes and written feedback. The commercial order should identify the same fragrance and component versions you have reviewed.

Compare quotations on the same scope

A lower unit price can represent a different scope. Check the specification before comparing totals.

Plan the destination and document scope early

Tell Anna where the product will be sold, who will import it and which documents your buyer or local representative requires. Depending on the product and market, questions may include ingredient information, safety information, fragrance conformity records, label content, batch identification and transport documentation.

Ask which records are available for your actual formula and who is responsible for any product assessment, market notification or registration. A general reference to IFRA does not establish a factory certification or approve a finished cosmetic product for every market.

IFRA Standards address the safe use of fragrance ingredients. Review relevant conformity information for the intended product and use level, together with the finished-product and destination requirements.

Build the timeline from decisions

Sampling, component procurement, artwork approval, production and shipping are separate stages. Ask which can proceed in parallel and which depend on an approval or deposit. Sample fees, payment arrangements and lead times are set in the quotation, rather than copied from another supplier’s published terms.

Confirm payment, shipment and responsibilities

Ask for a written quotation that names the currency, validity, payment stages and the items included in the price. If trade terms are used, identify the term and named delivery point and agree who handles freight, insurance, clearance and destination charges.

Confirm the importing party, destination, forwarder and requested transport records early. The actual liquid, packing and shipping route determine the arrangements; the website does not promise one transport method or cost for every order.

Keep a usable record for issues and repeat orders

Keep the approved sample codes, artwork revisions, component list and commercial order. Report any received-order issue to Anna with the order and batch reference, quantity affected and photos. The review and resolution follow the agreed order terms.

For a repeat order, identify the earlier specification and every requested change. A different pump, scent, fill size, decoration or destination can change minimums, price or timing.
