Start with the bottle and dispensing system
Fill size alone does not define a bottle specification. Share a model code, drawing or physical reference and confirm the neck finish, pump or applicator, cap and intended decoration. Components that look similar can have different fit and performance requirements.
| Component | Information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Bottle | Fill size, material, shape, neck finish and any surface treatment. |
| Pump or applicator | Fit, output or application method, closure type and available finish. |
| Cap and collar | Dimensions, retention, finish and appearance against the selected bottle. |
| Label or decoration | Usable area, artwork revision, colour reference and production method. |
| Box and insert | Finished dimensions, board or insert material, pack count and protection. |

Artwork should describe the actual product
Provide editable artwork where possible and identify the version being approved. Keep decorative copy separate from the mandatory information for the destination market. Include the languages, batch-identification area, importer details and barcode responsibilities in the review.
Do not finalize a carton around an unconfirmed bottle or a label around an unmeasured surface. Review the complete presentation, including clearances, opening and component retention.
Review the pack as it will be shipped
Protect glass, decoration and delicate caps during handling. A retail box and a transport carton have different jobs. Ask how units will be separated, counted and marked, and which protection is included in the quotation.
Available parts and new parts have different planning needs
An available bottle, new mould, custom coating and printed box can each have different minimums and preparation times. The starting MOQ is 1,000 units per fragrance and design; the selected specification determines the final minimum and cost.
The planning topics above draw on public perfume-packaging guidance. Component availability and services for your MX order are confirmed separately.
