Compare the application methods
| Method being considered | Points to establish with the sample |
|---|---|
| Roller | Ball and housing fit, rotation, delivery of the selected oil and closure fit. |
| Dabber or reducer | How the liquid is dispensed, the amount delivered and how the opening is protected. |
| Other applicator | A drawing or physical reference, its container connection and the intended way of use. |
Leakage and dispensing are separate observations
An applicator can dispense acceptably yet still need a different cap or sealing arrangement. Identify the liquid, bottle, applicator and closure used in each trial so a change to one part is traceable.
- Observe delivery with the selected oil rather than judging an empty component.
- Agree the handling or leakage-test conditions and acceptance criteria for the order.
- Keep the sample’s component references with the formula reference.
Describe the oil product before writing the label
Send the intended use, fragrance direction, desired volume and any carrier or finished-product reference. If you require an alcohol-free, natural, vegan or halal statement, identify it in the brief and ask what can be supported for the actual product.
A bottle photograph or an oil-based format does not establish those attributes. Product information and packaging copy need to describe the same formulation.
Questions buyers ask
Can the same oil use different applicators?
Each bottle/applicator combination needs its own fit and dispensing assessment. List the combinations and quantities rather than assuming the same approval covers all of them.
What is the MOQ basis for an oil range?
The starting basis is 1,000 units per fragrance and design. Different sizes, dispensing components and decoration can affect the final minimum.
